Tools in Google Maps To get to the Tools in Maps Labs:
Measurement Use the Measurement Tool
1. Enable the Measurement tool in Maps Labs 2. Click the Ruler 3. Click on the map for the first point 4. Click the second point 5. Choose the units for the measurement
Latitude and Longitude Use the Lat & Long Tool
1. Enable the LatLngTooltip in Maps Labs 2. Hover cursor over location 3. Press shift on the computer
1. Enable the LatLng Marker in Maps Labs 2. Right click on the area to mark 3. Choose Drop LatLng Marker 4. To erase the marker press the red x in the label
Zoom Use the Zoom tool
1. Enable 'Show Me Here' in Maps Labs 2. Choose a spot or marker on the map 3. Right click and choose Show Me Here to get to the closest available zoom for that spot on the map
1. Enable 'Drag 'n Zoom' in the Maps Labs 2. Click on the Drag 'n Zoom button 3. Draw a rectangle on the area to be zoomed
